Professor Cecilia K. Y. Chan attended the Hong Kong Shue Yan University 55th Anniversary Luncheon and Long Service Awards Ceremony. She was pleased to join the celebration at the kind invitation of Dr Jason Chow.

The occasion brought together friends, colleagues, and distinguished guests from the education sector and wider community. Professor Chan also had the chance to reconnect with friends and familiar faces, including Mr Eric Chan Kwok-ki, Chief Secretary for Administration, and Dr Christine Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Education.

The luncheon saw guests from across different sectors celebrate an important milestone in Hong Kong Shue Yan University’s (HKSYU) development: it marked both the 55th anniversary of its founding and 20 years since HKSYU attained university status.

The event also included the Long Service Awards Ceremony, recognising staff members for their longstanding dedication and contributions to the University. The celebration highlighted the enduring value of education, institutional commitment, and the people who have supported HKSYU’s mission across generations.
