Dr. Cecilia Chan was invited as a panel discussant and speaker for the Higher Education Service-Learning Symposium titled “21st Century Service-Learning Model for Inclusive Growth” at Lingnan University. Along with Dr. Albert Ko (Director of the University’s Office of Service Learning) and Mr. Howard Ling (Chief Consultant of the Social Enterprise Business Centre) in the panel session, they shared about how to cultivate generic skills of university students, the importance of financial sustainability in social enterprising and our experiences in training students to become social entrepreneurs.
