20 April 2026 - Professor Cecilia Chan Shares Vision for AI Tool Certification Platform in Recent Media Interviews

In her recent interviews with multiple media outlets in Hong Kong, Professor Cecilia Chan highlighted that, with the widespread application of AI technology in education, schools are facing challenges when selecting AI tools to use in teaching and learning. In response, she plans to establish a certification platform to help schools evaluate the quality and suitability of the many AI products that already exist. The platform will be based on evidence-based criteria and provide a transparent evaluation system to assist schools in making informed choices.

Prof. Chan is currently applying for the Quality Education Fund to support the development of this platform and further advance the sustainable application of AI in education.
