Highlights

Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant future—it is rewriting how our next generations learn, play, work and relate to the world, often faster than families and schools can adapt. From Gen Alpha who knows AI more than their teachers, to Gen Z preparing to enter a labour market transformed by automation, the rules of growing up—and of parenting—are being redrawn.

What does parenting mean in this new reality :

  • What new responsibilities do parents face?

  • How should parents set boundaries, model behaviour and guide values when they themselves are still figuring out how to live and work with AI?

What expectations do Gen Alpha and Gen Z have of their parents and educators:

  • Do we need to redefine success in the AI age?

  • What kind of support and guidance should be provided to children?

Esperanza is pleased to co-organise this form on Parenting in the AI Age with the University of Hong Kong AI in Education Lab and iCube. Join us for an interactive event that brings these questions to life through two candid panels—one with parents, one with Gen Alpha/Gen Z—followed by a joint cross-generational dialogue on what parenting means in the AI age.
