As a member of the survey team, Terence provides support to the various teaching and learning surveys conducted by the team. Common duties include collecting and processing survey data, as well as assisting in the production of reports.

Maggie Lo currently works as a Project Research Manager at the Centre of Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL). Prior to joining CETL, she has taught courses in Masters of Public Health (MPH), MBBS and Nursing undergraduate programmes. Maggie obtained her Doctorate in Psychiatry in University of Liverpool and an MSc. in Foundation in Clinical Psychology at University of Bangor. Her main research interests include survey methodology and assessments in experiential learning

Lillian provides assistance in both quantitative and qualitative research for a number of Teaching Development Grant (TDG) and General Research Fund (GRF) projects. She is involved in the writing of literature reviews, the collection of survey and interview data, quantitative and qualitative analysis of data, and the writing of research reports.

Dr Michael Chan

Responsibility: Michael is responsible in managing and executing different research projects on teaching and learning. Apart from working on the Centre’s latest project on developing and assessing generic skills in engineering education, he is keen to explore avenue of teaching and learning that approximates to his own research interest in culture and religion, particularly on the impact of ethnic diversity and multiculturalism.

Others: Besides his work at CETL, Michael is also currently an Adjunct Lecturer for different higher education institutions in Hong Kong, teaching undergraduate courses on comparative culture and religion.

Sonia joined CETL in November 2014, and is providing support to a UGC project on developing innovative communities of practice. She would be most eager to explore means of surfacing, sharing and spreading wise practices on assessment and learning. Having a MA in Applied Linguistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Sonia has worked on a variety of educational research projects, including language education, vocabulary testing and outcome-based education.

Henrietta has involved in various research projects before joining the CETL research team. She worked at The Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education, The Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, HKU as a research assistant. She assisted in a medical education research regarding health professions students’ use of mobile devices in problem-based learning (PBL). She is currently involved in a research project, funded by General Research Fund (GRF), which investigates the use of educational technologies by undergraduate students in PBL.
